Major L. Clark, III

Major L. Clark III is an attorney, executive coach, governance advisor, and graduate faculty member with search committee experience at the academic-leadership level, including dean and department chair searches. He will assist with designing an evaluation framework attentive to governance, mission, legal/compliance considerations, Executive Coaching, and selection and interviewing. Major is also an Adjunct Professor, Organizational Development for the Graduate Management Program at the University of Maryland Global Campus. He was the former Dean of Urban Studies at Morgan State University. He earned his juris doctor and master’s degrees from the University of Iowa and his bachelor’s degree in urban studies from A&T University. He is a certified Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Federation of Coaching as an Associate Coach, (ICF), Internal Federal Coaching Program, and the Institute for Coaching Innovation program. Major was also the former president and owner of two small businesses. Major specializes in Effective Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Small Business Development, Entrepreneurship, Inclusion, and Project Management. His coaching clients include Comcast, University of Maryland Medical School, SBA, and U.S. Veterans.
